Max's New Do

Max went to the groomer for his summer do. I was a little shocked when I picked him up. The groomer and I must not have been on the same page with our discussion on his cut. Oh, Well it just hair it will grow back. Of course, I still think he is a cutie. I think he looks a little like a cat. Max is enjoying his new do and seems to be more comfortable in the heat.

Girls Day

Today Kristi and I headed to Fort Wayne to visit baby Emma and Mommy Tabby. We picked up Moe's on the way so Tabby did not have to worry about lunch. We held Emma, ate lunch, had girl talk and of course I took a couple pictures. I tried my foot picture again (I did better this time). After leaving Tabby and Chad's house Kristi and I headed to the Zoo with Bowen. We had a great day. I start my job full time job on Wednesday so I am trying to make the best of the last few free days!

Wagler Visit

Friday afternoon I went to visit my cousin Allison and her boys at their new home in Fort Wayne. Allison her husband Phil and their boys have been living in southern Indiana for several years so Phil could finish up his law degree. Phil graduated in May with his MBA and Law Degree from IU. Phil already has found employment at a law firm in Fort Wayne. So after graduation they packed up and headed north for Phil's new job. Everyone is so excited they will be closer to family! My Aunt Jean also joined us for lunch at the Wagler home. We had a wonderful tea party. Allison prepared veggies wraps, chicken salad croissants, and apple walnut salad with homemade creamy herb dressing. We also had fresh squeezed lemonade and of course we had tea. It would not have been a tea party with out tea. I truly enjoyed spending time with Micah and Lucas. Lucas is very smart and full of energy and Micah is very alert and sweet. The tea party gave Allison, Aunt Jean, and I a chance for a much needed catch up session. I look forward to more visits to the Wagler home.

Yeah...

I finally found employment...I know...I know I just graduated in May but I have been looking since January. I start tomorrow at DAC which stands for Drug and Alcohol Consortium of Allen County. My title will be an ATR consultant which stands for Access to Recovery consultant. Essentially, I will be a case manager for adults that are addicted to illegal substances. I am so excited and nervous at the same time about my new position, change can be hard for me at times. I am really ready though to use the skills I have acquired over the last seven years in school, internship, and work. I really need to take a minute to thank Dr. Mary Etheart my internship supervisor from Hope House. Thank you for helping me find employment and taking your time and energy to teach me!

June has Arrived

June came so fast...this month our calendar is filled with with weddings, charity events, T-ball, softball, and family events! Bring it on we are ready to attack!

Reunited And It Feels...

After 8 Days Max and Mommy finally were reunited.
