Mother's Day

On Saturday the Sparks family celebrated Mother's Day at my parents house! We had a great day together! It is nice to have a day to let our Mother's know how much we love them.

Over the last 6 years 5 children have been born into the Sparks family. Each of them have brought joy and change to our family. The holidays have so much more meaning now that we have 5 little ones to think about and appreciate.

Gummy Bear Tree

My Dad is an avid gardener. He grows most the vegetables and herbs we eat. In early spring my Dad starts getting his garden ready. The grand kids love to go outside and walk around and ask him questions about the garden. About a year ago the grand kids wanted a treat so my dad went to his workshop and got some gummy bears for them. My niece Kinsey then asked do you grow gummy bears Grandpa? My Dad ran with the idea. So whenever the gran kids come over they beg my Dad to go pick some gummy bears. So around Easter my Dad made this tree so the kids could pick their own gummy bears. Someday when they recall the memory I am sure it will bring great joy and laughter.

Max

Our poor little puppy Max has had two seizures within the last month. Max just turned 3 so this is very concerning to Eric and Me. Last week Max went to the Vet to see Dr. Cawood. Dr. Cawood did a physical examine and blood test. The blood test came back fine. Dr. Cawood thinks Max might have a tumor on his brain causing the seizure. So after some more test and monitoring Max might have to have an MRI. Max is like my child and I will do everything I can to help keep him healthy. Keep the little guy in your prayers please.

April showers bring May flowers. May is here already? I can't believe it; we were so busy in April that it flew right by. Again this month is another busy month in the Strobel House. I am trying to finish up school. I will be graduating May 12th! In between work and ball practice for Eric, we are also preparing for our trip to Mexico. Our Mexico trip will be very special time for Eric and me to reflect on the past five years and all we have accomplished as a couple and how lucky we are to have each other!

Soccer Time for Alivia

Today our niece Alivia had her first soccer game of the season. My sister Jennifer was great at soccer in middle school so I think Liv gets some of her talent naturally, she is the best on her team (I may be a little partial). Eric and I enjoy watching our nieces and nephew participate in extracurricular activities.

T-Ball Time

This year my brother Dathen asked Eric to help coach our niece Kinsey's team. This is Kinsey's second year playing T-Ball and she is loving it. She is all decked out with her pink gear and ready to play. Eric is excited about helping coach Kinsey and the rest of the Tiger team!
