The time has come...we have out grown our furnished one bedroom apartment. Over 4 years ago when Eric graduated from college and was hired at Walgreen's in Huntington he needed a place to stay. He looked at all the apartment complexes in town but they were either over priced or low income housing. He was driving from Manchester everyday for work until he drove by a sign near his work that said; "One bedroom furnished apartment". He called right away and moved in the next week. 1 year after moving into the apartment as a single bachelor we got married and bought a dog. 500 square feet can work for 1 person but 2 people and a dog can be a little tight at times, but we made it work. We did a lot of complaining about the small space and all the amenities we wished we had. We had to park on the street and had to go to the Laundromat every week. Well after 3 years of marriage we decided it was time to move on to the next step in life. We started house hunting, 3 months later I am sitting in my new bedroom writing this blog. We couldn’t be happier. I love all the space but I will say I cried when I left the apartment for the last time. We created a home within that small space. That was our first place together, where we brought Max home too, and were we have spent the first 3 years of our marriage together. That little apartment will only hold a place in my heart and bring lots of fond memories.
