I am always looking for a reason to throw a party! So last week Eric and I hosted a gender reveal party! We had our ultra sound on Friday. We had the ultra sound tech write the gender down on a piece of paper and put it in a sealed envelope. We then gave the envelope to a neighbor who called the baker and told her the gender. Our neighbor kept the envelope until the party! I felt like a little kid...the anticipation was almost overwhelming. Will I have a son or daughter?

It's a girl and I so shocked...I was for sure it was a boy.

It is more than a pink cake. It is the beginning of knowing I will have a daughter.
