Liam's 5

It is hard to believe he is 5 years old.  It seems like just yesterday Brandy and Doug told us they were expecting their first baby.  Liam is turning into quite the young man.  He is very smart and sensitive.  He is very aware of his surrounding and how others feel.  He can be a little shy at times, he likes to observe first and join in second.  He is doing very well in his second year of pre-school and will be more than ready to start kindergarten next year.  Every time I see Liam I always make sure to get a big hug and kiss because I know pretty soon he will be to cool to kiss his Aunt Heidi!

Nichelson Family Pics

Last Sunday after church I had the privilege of taking my cousin Tyson’s family pictures! Tacori the youngest started out not to sure about the pictures but she warmed up quickly and did great! I think they are a pretty cute family!  

4 Years and Counting

4 years ago today I married my soul mate and best friend.  On my wedding day I thought I loved Eric more than humanly possible but each day I love him more.  As we go through life and marriage together we have grown together and continue to learn each day.   When Eric and I met I loved him for several reason; his gentleness, kindness, loving personality, sense of humor, and loyalty.  4 years later I still love all those things about him but now so much more.  Today I love him for being the main provider for our family, for always being budget conscious and debt free minded, for being a faithful man of God that wants our family to be spiritually full, for the uncle he is to our nieces and nephews, and mostly for his determination to make our marriage better each day.  I love you Eric and I can’t wait to love you more each day.  My life would not be complete without you. 

House Blessing

Last Saturday Eric and I hosted our House Blessing.  A House Blessing is a Lutheran (Christian) Tradition.  We welcomed family and friends to come to our home and enjoy lunch, see our home, and say a series of prayers and reading to ask the Lord to Bless our home and all we do here. 

 We feel blessed to own a home and have so many friends and family that came to show their support!

Fall Time

Fall is my favorite time of the year (that is why we had an October wedding).  I love the colors, smells, and weather! This last weekend Eric and I gave the house a fall touch! Eric planted all the mums and I added the decorative touches! I am super proud of my thrifty buys.  I only paid $11.00 for everything on the porch! If you live in the area Changing Seasons off Highway 24 has great deals! I hope everyone is enjoying fall as much as we are here at the Strobel House!
