This was a hard week for Eric, every where he went he got razzed for liking the Jets. He even wore his Jets jersey to church this morning! He had high hopes for the Jets to win today. Well, as most of you know the Jets did not pull off the win. Eric is a little disappointed but the Colts are his second favorite team. Eric says he will cheer for the Colts in the Superbowl.

Uncles are the Best
Eric and I spent this last weekend with my sister Brandy and her family in Indianapolis. Liam is my sister Brandy's son, he is 3 years old. Liam is a very smart boy with lots of energy. This weekend he took a great interest in his Uncle Eric. Liam wanted to do everything that Eric did. He wanted Eric to take him to the bathroom, hold his hand, and carry him. Liam could not get enough time with Uncle Eric. Liam even wanted to walk Max like Uncle Eric.

Go Pacers
Tonight we went to see the Indiana Pacers in Indianapolis at Conseco Field House! My brother in-law Doug had an opportunity to get Pacers tickets for $5.00 each through the Sheriffs department, we could not turn the deal down. We only made it to half time though. Liam and Layla's attention span was running low.

Jets & Colts
Eric's favorite football team the Jets won their playoff game tonight. I am really not much of a sports fan, I would call myself a band wagon Colts fan. I mostly cheer for the Colts to razz my husband! Eric is very divided he wants the Jets to win but his second choice would be the Colts, either way he wants the American League to have another Superbowl Win.
The Fight Is On
Football
Saturday evening Eric and I went to the Brouwer's house to watch football. We first watched the Saints march to victory and then we tuned into the Colts game. The Colt pulled off another win. We had a great evening filled with football, food, and fellowship with great friends!

Oh Baby...It's a Boy
On Saturday I attended Tiffany's baby shower! I had a blast we played fun games, ate great food, and watched Tiffany open lots of wonderful presents. It is always great to get together and celebrate when one of my friends are having a life changing event in their lives. All of us girls have been friends since our freshman year in high school. Our friendships have faced wonderful times and hardships but in the end we are still best friends!

Wednesday I came home to a wonderful surprise from my Mom. While I was out running errands my Mom came to my house and brought me some healthy food to help keep me on track for the New Year. Sometimes Mom's know just when you need a boost. It does not matter how grown up I think I am, my Mom always knows just what I need! Thanks Mom..I Love You!

Happy B-Day Grandma
Today we helped celebrate my Grandma Sparks 79th Birthday. My Aunt Jean and Aunt Lisa traveled to my parent's house to join the celebration. My Mom prepared a wonderful meal as always, we then indulged in ice cream cake. The Sparks Family is growing in numbers quickly. My grandparents have 4 children, 11 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren by the time you add in the spouse's we have a family of 36 people. Over the years the family is not only expanding by numbers but also with miles in between us. Even though our lives are evolving we still all have one thing in common, "We Are The Sparks Family".
Winter Wonderland
Saturday most of my siblings and I went to our parents house in Warren. Mom cooked great food for lunch and dinner. After all the kids had their naps we all went outside to play in the snow. The kids had a blast they did not want to come inside. After dinner we all went down to the basement the kids danced the night away and we all played pin ball and pool.

Manchester College
The Student Union
Last Night Eric and I went to visit Manchester College. Eric graduated from Manchester almost 4 years ago, we can't beileve how fast the time has passed. Eric wanted to visit the new student union. The book store is located in the Student Union so we got some new Manchester gear. Eric was amazed by all the changes made since his graduation. We walked around the campus and drove by all the places he lived while in college. It was great to reminisce about Manchester College.

Just for Laughs
Everyone needs a laugh now and then. Today you can laugh at me. I had a blonde moment today! This morning I got up early, showered, packed my lunch, put my book bag on my back and headed to Fort Wayne for school. I left extra early due to the road conditions. My first class was at 10:30 am. When I arrived at school I got a front row parking spot, "which never happens". I walked into the classroom ready for my last semester in college. I sat down and waited. Twenty minutes pasted, I started to wonder was school cancelled due to the weather. I walked into the hallway, and asked a woman, "Is school cancelled due to the weather" she replied "No, school does not start until next week". I laughed so hard all the way back to my car that, I was crying! I guess I was just so ready to get the semester over. So to all my fellow classmates I will see you next week when class really starts.

Spoiled GrandDog
Max Enjoying his Christmas Gifts
Between my parents and Eric's parents Max had a wonderful Christmas. Max is so spoiled by our parents. He now has so many toys that they won't all fit in his toy basket. He now has enough treats to get him through until his Birthday in April. My Mom also gifted him with a gift certificate to the Veterinary. Max has the most wonderful Grandparent's Ever!

Ringing in the New Year
The Last 2 years we spent New Year's Eve in Indianapolis with my family! This year we decided to ring in the New Year in style. We spent our evening at the Cadillac Ranch in Downtown Indianapolis. The Cadillac Ranch offered a dinner and dancing New Year's deal. We were severed salad, prime rib, mashed potatoes, green beans, and dessert. The meal was fabulous and very filling. Then we hit the bar and the dance floor. I wish everyone a Happy, Healthy, Prosperous Year.
